Guru Purnima – Gratitude to Guru, Gateway to Krishna’s Grace
In Srimad Bhagavatam 10.80.32-43 Lord Krishna told Sudama-
The person who bestows transcendental knowledge upon the members of society is one’s ultimate spiritual master. Indeed, spiritual master is as good as Myself, Lord Krishna.
Those who take advantage of the words I speak in My form as the spiritual master can fulfils life’s purpose and attain eternal peace going back to Vaikuntha, which is free from all miseries.
I am very much satisfied when one faithful rendered service to one’s spiritual master. Indeed, It is the duty of all true disciples to repay the debt to their spiritual master by offering him, with pure hearts, their wealth and even their very lives.
This Guru Purnima please Krishna by contributing to take care of His most beloved cows (gau-seva), feeding His devotees (vaishnavas), offering vigrah seva, offering food in charity (anna-daan).

In this endeavour of offering service to Lord Kṛṣṇa, you get eternal credit, and even a little service offered to Lord Kṛṣṇa can protect one from the greatest type of fear.
Srimad Bhagavatam 10.11.11
While Kṛṣṇa was going to the fruit vendor very hastily, most of the grains He was holding fell. Nonetheless, the fruit vendor filled Kṛṣṇa’s hands with fruits, and her fruit basket was immediately filled with jewels and gold.

It is the duty of every living being to perform welfare activities for the benefit of others with one’s life, wealth, intelligence and words.
